Why should I become a Computer Engineering major?

Computer Engineering offers a lot of flexibility. It is an academic program shared between the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department and the School of Computing. As a result, students have the opportunity to take classes from either department. Can’t decide between EE and CS? Join us!

Computer Engineers are in demand. It is a valuable thing to understand both the hardware and the software aspect of computing. Many job opportunities are available to Computer Engineers.

What types of things can Computer Engineers do?

Computer Engineers have a wide variety of opportunities available to them. Computer Engineers can do everything from writing operating systems software to designing the next generation microprocessor.

If the standard engineering route isn’t appealing to you, Computer Engineers can also work in management or technical sales postions.
